OPERATIONS DIRECTORATE The Operations Directorate works with member companies across the oil and gas supply chain, from operators to suppliers, to deliver solutions to increase the efficiency and lifespan of operations on the UK continental shelf (UKCS) and ensure the integrity of assets. The team develops and implements legal and operational policy in the areas of licensing, exploration and appraisal, field development, production operations and decommissioning. The Operations Directorate also liaises with external stakeholders such as the fisheries and renewable industries and responds to external consultation requests. It also carries out annual surveys of exploration and decommissioning activities on the UKCS.

Why should you attend? The Exploration Forum provides opportunities for members to discuss issues relating to licences, seismic and subsurface data, and exploration and appraisal drilling activity. It provides a platform for industry experts to contribute to the formulation of Oil & Gas UK policies on UKCS licensing and exploration related matters.
