Forummembership also provides input to the preparation of responses to Government consultations on forthcoming employment legislation. Who can attend? Membership of the HR forum is open to all Oil & Gas UK members and is usually attended by company HR managers or advisors from both operator and contractor companies.

How frequently are meetings held? The HR Forum meets quarterly.

Example topics • Working Time litigation – recruitment and skills shortages • Immigration caps – consultation responses • Pandemic planning – input to regional plans prepared by NHS and emergency services • Employment law updates

“The HR forum is one of the most useful forums for HR professionals within

the industry to network, discuss ‘hot’ topics and explore potential synergies. Attendance at this forum is key to understanding and being at the forefront of HR matters within the Industry.” Laura Cliffe Head of HR Operations and Services, Total E&P UK
