Oil & Gas UK Membership Pack

FACING INDUSTRY CHALLENGES

ECONOMICS & COMMERCIAL DIRECTORATE The Economics & Commercial Directorate provides a centre of expertise on the oil and gas industry, compiling reports and analysis on industry activity, investment and outlook. The figures can be used to highlight the contribution the industry makes to the economy, not just directly, but also indirectly through the supply chain. Working closely with organisations such as the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), Ofgem, HM Treasury and the media ensures the Directorate has input to promoting the interests of the industry in both the UK and EU. The Directorate strives to improve the competitiveness and delivery of the oil and gas industry in the UK by influencing regulatory, energy and fiscal policy. Oil & Gas UK membership will allow you to participate in the forums the Directorate supports, as well as the opportunity to access the expertise of the team.
