Beginning his apprenticeship in September 2018 in ASCO’s warehouse, Callum stood out with his impressive drive and attitude towards his role and company values. He upholds the company’s safety and service delivery excellence every day, bringing new ideas to the table on how to improve the client experience. Within 14 months of joining, Callum’s natural leader abilities saw him promoted to Senior Warehouse Operative, where he now directly manages a team of five warehouse staff.

With a genuine passion for what he does, Kieron’s ability to remain calm under pressure, organisational skills and knowledge has helped his team reduce their product build and test hours. This has enabled the team to take a methodical approach to projects, helping the team thrive. Recently completing his four-year apprenticeship with the group, Kieron has emerged as a highly capable team leader, with his enterprising proving key in making improvements to Proserv Controls consumables process and preventing avoidable extensions of lead times for customers. Kieron is actively involved in initiatives supporting school children, regularly giving talks on opportunities in the industry.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Scott showed a great attitude to his work, offering his service to mobilise to the platform after being down-manned due to POB restrictions. He has also been using any time at home to complete remaining competencies, which has left his portfolio almost complete. Scott’s willingness to contribute and lead in toolbox talks has helped ensure effective handovers with his colleagues. As an extremely valuable member of the team, Scott has shown exceptional knowledge and understanding of his job at a young age. His attention to detail and quick response time has been key to preventing lifting equipment failure, protecting the safety of his colleagues, and delivering cost savings to CNOOC.
