This includes monitoring and risk- assessing relevant legislation and identifying potential areas of concern for members and stakeholders. The team also looks to influence the development of legislation to ensure that industry expenditure is directed to areas that will provide optimum environmental benefit. Key stakeholder interfaces aremaintained, allowing Oil & Gas UK to play an active role in policy formation across government and regulators, and to ensure that maximising efficiency is a consideration in the implementation of legislative requirements.
