NOTE: topsides and substructure are included together in this region. This is because assets in the SNS and IS are usually smaller, in comparison with NNS and CNS, and are generally removed in one campaign, making it difficult to separate costs effectively. The southern North Sea and Irish Sea has seen a year on year fall in forecast removal costs per tonne for topsides and substructures. However, the 2019 dataset has an increased range in the input value and while the average costs have reduced, the median has seen an increase.
